Vous dirigez une balle sur un tapis roulant composé de cases dont certaines ont des effets sur la balle (ralentissement, saut, inversion des commandes...). Le tout est de rejoindre l'arrivée dans les temps et sans tomber dans le vide.

Il a été récompensé par un TILT D'OR Canal+ en 1987 dans la catégorie meilleur jeu d'action.

Le jeu utilise la technique du Multi-Mode qui permet de mélanger les modes graphiques.
La zone de jeu est en MODE 0 et la zone des informations est en MODE 1.
La palette de couleur est changée par l'utilisation des rasters entre les 2 zones.

Le tapis roulant est réalisé grâce à un changement de palette à chaque ligne (rasters) dans 5 encres différentes, une pour chaque bande. Ce principe sera repris plus tard dans des démos pour faire des scrolling-texts (Ex: THE DEMO).

Il existe 256 patterns de 5 octets avec les couleurs hardware, commençant en &4DF9
0 = 54 54 54 54 54 (ligne noir)
1 = 4B 4B 4B 4B 4B (ligne blanche)
2 = 52 52 52 52 52 (ligne verte)
3 = 4A 4A 4A 4A 4A (ligne jaune)
4 = 55 57 55 57 55 (alternance bright blue / sky blue)
...
&AE a &FE, les patterns sont noires et non utilisée (pouvant être utilisé pour une suite du jeu).
&FF = entièrement rouge pour signaler la fin du niveau

Les circuits sont ensuite encodés à partir de &4039 jusqu'à &4DE8 en utilisant le numéro de la pattern, ce qui permet d'économiser 4 octets par ligne.

Les 14 circuits prennent 3503 octets, les patterns 1280 octets, soit en tout seulement 4783 octets.
L'astuce de programmation avec les patterns est impressionnante, sans elle, pour les 3503 lignes composant les 14 circuits, le programmeur auraient utilisé 3503 * 5 octets = 17515 octets, il a économisé 12732 octets.

&00 : Piste normale
&40 : Pistes en montée
&80 : Pistes croisées
&C0 : Pistes en montée surmontée d'un pont

Choix du SPRITE (&00 a &07)
&00 : Ballon de Foot (Valeur par défaut)
&01 : Le personnage sur ressort de Thing Bounces Back
&02 : Personnage en fauteuil roulant
&03 : Cube rouge et vert
&04 : Balle en caoutchouc bleu
&05 : Hélicoptère
&06 : Jouet a roulette
&07 : Tête verte grimaçante

Charger votre original disquette.
Avant de charger le jeu faire : poke &0320, PISTE + SPRITE
Comme écrit dans le scrolling, rien n'a l'air de ce passer, mais en fait, le sprite du ballon a été remplacé par un nouveau sprite et la piste a elle aussi été changée (nous avons le droit a 32 possibilités).
