Before Ramdos I uses this utility in my 5 1/4 disc drive. It is a driver utility.
It runs under CP/M.
You must load CP/M (not autoboot because it support both CP/M), type the name of the format and drive B will be ready to support the format. And uses PIP to copy files. To format uses format.com (CP/M 3) or format2.com (CP/M 2).
The only supported format for Amsdos is s80trk/80trk and any of the basic files runs like a driver.
The other formats are only for use in CP/M, Hdens is similar to D10 ramdos format.
I used a lot this program, more or less 50% of my collection is under s80trk format
